용도지역 유형별 코로나19 초기 서울 생활인구의 공간 활용 차이를 분석했다.
초록
The initial stage of the COVID-19 pandemic offers many lessons for understanding citizens' dynamics in urban space. This study uses de facto population big data to demonstrate the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on citizens' urban spatial utilization in Seoul, Korea. We focus on the differences in space utilization by zoning patterns to obtain implications related to neighborhood planning. The main findings are as follows: First, in residential areas, we confirmed that the de facto population increased as the pandemic developed. Second, in commercial areas, the de facto population decreased significantly during the pandemic.
Third, the de facto population in green areas increased overall regardless of the zone of adjacent area. This study does not aim to be an early attempt to link the COVID-19 pandemic and urban planning; however, it is meaningful to explain the changes in the lives of citizens of a large city using de facto population big data, which has not been widely used in urban analysis before.
