WWW(World Wide Web)을 기반으로한 토지정보시스템 활용을 위한 방안

웹 기반 토지정보시스템의 활용 방안을 연구했다.

The World Wide Web (WWW) is a protocol on the Internet that allows hypermedia information retrieval across the network. The WWW uses the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) for data transfer. Land Information Systems (LIS) are king widely employed for diversified application in planning and other fields. However, traditional models for LIS do not provide those outside of related organization with direct access to spatial data-bases. Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to utilize Web-based LIS In order to achieve this purpose, this paper on the Web-based LIS Application, adopts following methods. 1) This study conducted reviews of literatures.

Most of the materials used in this section were from online. 2) Several methods have been proposed to apply Web-based LIS to the some practical areas. It turns out that Web-based LIS allow people to access to the land information and people who are connected to the Internet can share the precious land information. These Web-based LIS allow users anywhere on the Internet to manipulate and display the data layers of interest. However, most of the current Web-based LIS have very limited processing capabilities. Therefore, the future generation of the Web-based LIS should incorporate an even greater access of processing capabilities.

Anyway, we are moving closer and ;loser to a future of universal access to heterogeneous, multimedia information distributed around the world.
