호주의 지적제도 현황에 관한 연구

호주의 지적측량 및 토지이전·등기 관련 지적제도 현황을 소개하였다.

This paper introduces the basic information on how cadastral systems operate in Australia particularly from a cadastral surveying perspective. Australia is a federation of states and operate separate cadastral systems in each system in the same; to underpin effective land transfer and land registration within a sound land administration system to support an active land market. Also this paper highlights the essential practices of the cadastral system including processes of land transfer and registration and the roles of professional supporting bodies for maintaining standards, quality and operability as roles to raise the importance of the cadastre underpinning spatial data infrastructure.

본 연구의 목적은 호주의 지적제도가 창설되고 발전되어온 현황을 살펴보는 데 있다. 최근 들어 공간정보산업을 효과적으로 지원하기 위해 호주는 각 주에서 독립적으로 운영되고 있는 지적시스템을 국가공간인프라에 적합하도록 통합운영하고 있으며 토지등록을 원활하게 하고 부동산 거래를 활성화할 수 있도록 제반환경을 강화하고 있다. 또한 호주정부가 지속가능한 사회발전에 지적정보의 활용이 매우 중요하다는 사실을 인식하고 연방정부 차원에서 지적공간정보의 표준, 품질, 상호운영을 위해 추진했던 정책방향과 사례를 살펴보고자 한다.
