노후 산업단지와 주변 도시의 지속가능발전 지표를 개발했다.

This study aims to develop sustainable development indicators and propose a priority ranking for aging industrial complexes and their surrounding urban areas throughout South Korea. The study's scope includes industrial complexes established over 20 years ago. To determine the importance of hierarchical factors, we surveyed experts in the industrial and urban/regional planning sectors. Based on the importance analysis of sustainable development indicators for aging industrial complexes, factory utilization rate and productivity in the industrial vitality sector were rated as the most critical factors.

These findings highlight the necessity of both expanding the production activities of resident companies and promoting regional innovation and R&D to enhance the competitiveness of these aging complexes. The indicators developed in this study will be instrumental in assessing the current status of aging industrial complexes and their surrounding regions. This will contribute significantly to the government's efforts to create a sustainable regeneration project evaluation system and to prioritize policy decisions that will play a vital role in the sustainable development of these areas.
