소규모복합용도블록 내 ‘대지의 조경’의 전용실태: 화성시 택지개발지구 내 지구단위계획지침 적용환경을 대상으로

The purpose of the study is to analyze the realities of ‘gardening in a lot’ argued for its reduction or removal currently. The issue of ‘gardening in a lot’ has been discussed mainly under the point of urban administrative execution. In order to discover the new points of ‘gardening in a lot’, this study conducted case studies about small sized mixed-use housing block within planned new town district in detailed perspective. As a result, the significant gap between legislative meanings and overall realities of ‘gardening in a lot’ for securing a comfort, safety, esthetics, publicness and environment-friendly ecology were revealed.

These causes based on orientations to pursuing economic feasibility of the individual lot, as well as inexperienced side of operation system such as inadequate urban design guideline. The result implies ‘gardening in a lot’ should overcome the limitation of passive management within building construction law and operate more efficiently than city planning.
