신도시계획에 있어서 토지이용에 관한 연구

신도시계획의 토지이용 체계와 적용 방안을 연구했다.

The purpose of this study is to find an effective and applicable land use and framework for new town planning through reviewing and analyzing theoretically and empirically some general theories of urban development, past and persent cases of the new town development of foreign countries, and two cases of Korea's new town development. The main emphasis has been put on formulating a framework of the new town planning and systemizing the whole process. Chapter Ⅰ is the introduction, including the purpose, methodology, and scope of the study. Chapter Ⅱ is devoted to the examination of motives and means of the new town development.

In Chapter Ⅲ, the author considered the some criteria of new town planning. Chapter Ⅳ is an explanation of land acquisition methods and the land-use planning of the projected area, and the new town's traffic plan and the neighborhood unit plan interrelated to the land-use planning are also included in this chapter. Chapter Ⅳ is the conclusion of this study, which proposes some desirable ideas and basic guidelines for the new town development policy in Korea.
