With the introduction of the new "National Law on Land Planning and Use," Land Suitability Analysis(L.S.A.) has become an increasingly important tool for urban planning. Although L.S.A. started in January 2003, it has been expected to affect in many fields in national and urban land use policy and many problems already have revealed in many cases. The aims of this study are to review the theoretical basis on implementing of L.S.A. and to suggest some ways to resolve such problems on the scope of Urban Planning
