성장관리형 도심재생의 전략과 계획요소를 제시한다.

This study aims to establish the concept of growth management-typed urban regeneration and to suggest the detailed strategies and elements related with city center regeneration. For this purpose, the current tendencies of urban regeneration policy in developed countries such as England, United States, and Japan are reviewed. After this, we investigate the concepts of growth management, urban regeneration, and sustainable development, which are closely related with the discussion of growth management-typed urban regeneration, and draw the concept of growth management-typed city center regeneration.

Lastly we suggest the practical strategies and major planning elements of city center regeneration based on above concepts in the aspects of physical/environmental, social/ economical, policy/management, respectively.
