농지전용의 원인과 영향에 관한 연구

농지전용 규제의 제도와 법적 쟁점을 다룬다.

This study analyzed the status of farmland conversion and the farmland converters" recognition in Wanju-gun. The investigation was made on the characteristics of farmland converters, acquisition type and purpose, conversion procedure, causes and effects on the region. The main details are as follows. As for the main agent of farmland conversion, individuals were more than corporations. The farmland acquisition type was mainly purchase, and the reason of farmland conversion was that conversion was suitable its the purpose. The farmland converters slightly felt inconvenience in terms of conversion procedure, but they were satisfied overall.

Such positive impacts as job creation, increase in land prices and local development activation were pointed out. Negative impacts of farmland conversion were decrease in farmland area, the rise of farmland prices and damage to natural environment and landscape. The results of the analysis on the status of farmland conversion and on the recognition can be utilized to provide basic data for farmland conversion and to seek a policy direction.
