The main purpose of this study is sustainable forest use in korea. Sustainable development has become an official principle or goal in many countries. Because korea is consist of 65% of forest, sustainable forests use is very important in korea. In present time, the korean forests have not prepared industrial forestry and have not prepared political principle of sustainable forests use. However, industrial forestry development and the policies of sustainable forests use are need for national development in the future. And forests are play an important role in ecological balance and biodiversity conservation. They also takes part in climate change regulation.

The purposes of this study are as followed: First, Forest land use plan in korea. Second, how preserve forests multiple function for ecosystem and climate change?. Finally, a political plan for sustainable forests use. The results of this study are as follows : - The plan of forest land use is to make toward minimization of exclusive use. And if forest land have to exclusive use, it will make friend with natural situation. Also, national land use plan will have to legal guarantee of it. It will be frist step of forest industry growth. - Forest law will have to intensify to the protect of natural environment.

So forest law in present is weak for biodiversity protection of forest that forest law will build up strengthening for protection function in forest environment. And it will have to consider the forestry prevention technique for climate change. - It will be make suitable criteria and indicators for korean forest situation. At this time, the criteria and indicators of Montreal process are applied 70% in korean forests. Therefore, Invention of suitable criteria and indicators are an essential subject in korea. Attainment of it will have to examine the environmental carrying capacity. - Local governments in korea are mostly related to forest.

Therefore, to consider environmental function of forest in development of local agenda 21, it means that local government have to consider natural balance with local development. Up to the present, local government roles of korea are incomplete, but the roles will be expanded in the social, cultual, and economical region. Accordingly, to establish local government policies, considerations for forest environment are positively necessary for sustainable forest use. - Wood self-sustenance of korea will be difficult until in the middle 21 th. Accordingly, international conventions are necessary in relation to forest. And foreign investments must extend.

It is necessary for sustainable wood supply and strengthening of diplomatic relation.
