신시가지 지구단위계획의 경관요소 계획 방향을 연구했다.

The aim of this study is to review the element of urban landscape planning based on District Unit Plan(DUP) in the southwestern new-town area in Daejeon. For the study, the general conditions related with the urban landscape planning are analyzed, which is developed at present. It is composed of following four parts. The first part studies the concept and goal of landscape planning according to the component elements of the new-town. The next part analyzes effects and relations on the landscape planning of the DUP. The third part, as a case study, analyzes the various way of the urban landscape control in new town area.

As a conclusion, the considerable subject in planning for the urban landscape guideline through the synthesis of the analysis and suggestions to the development directions for landscape planning in the future are arranged.
