대구의 도시계획과 택지개발사업의 추진 과정을 분석했다.

A purpose of this study is, first of all, to see what the position of Taegu city takes in Comprehensive National Physical Development Plan and how the City General Development Plan of Taegu has been set up and developed. Another purpose is to see how the Housing Site Development Project of Taegu city has been carried out with the changes of the times; that is to say, to see process of development and result of Land Readjustment Project(LRP) and Public Sector Development Project(PSDP). A third is to study the directions of Housing Site Development in the future. In this study, Housing Site Development Project consists of LRP and PSDP.

The chapter 3 described the definition, main procedure, developing process and result of LRP. The chapter 4 described the definition, necessity, main procedure, developing process and result of PSDP and what should be the way of Housing Site Development in the future. PSDP is the way in which public developer compensates for all of objects like-land and obstacles to make housing complex with best public use and public profit. The PSDP contributed to Two Million Housing Construction Plan. But it has many problems such as enormous expense for compensation, various group appeals, financial difficulty of public developer caused by sales depression of land.

Therefore, It's the time that Housing Site Development Project should take a new way of mixing land substition and cash compensation, taking advantages of LRP and PSDP. Conclusionally, in order to grow into a desirable urban scale, it is necessary to found Wide-Sphere Development System in connection with Peripheral cities and Long Term City Plan. Also, if reasonable Housing Site Development System is adopted and public developer and concerned local government cooperate in various Housing Site Development Projects as accompanying partners, Taegu area can be developed into an ideal big city.
