생태산업단지 개발을 위한 산업·환경정책 개선방안을 제안했다.

I studied this topic for the purpose of understanding the environmental problems of industrial world and proposing the alternatives in industrial-environmental policies for the better development of industrial complexes in the future. Within this context, I reviewed the environmental problems related to industrial complexes and analyzed industrial-environmental policies. Then I proposed Eco-Industrial Parks(EIPs) as a model of development of industrial complexes in Korea. And I showed the needs to change some policies in industrial-environmental sphere.

I came to the conclusion that the environmental policy and the industrial policy have to be incorporated to achieve the development of EIPs in Korea. Besides I proposed here that the production system of industrial complex ought to be a closed loop industrial system so as to enable the complex to use materials and energy cyclically and we’d better have the systematic viewpoint of eco-industrial system to acieve the sustainability of industry.
